Welcome To Briarfield Farm Sanctuary

Briarfield Farm Sanctuary began in February 2011.  Owners John and Diane Coghlin had a dream to turn their once horse farm into a unique canine sanctuary.  The 165 acre property consists of indoor dog kennels, fenced play areas where the dogs can run, swim, and socialize, an indoor play arena, and hiking trails throughout the woods and fields where the dogs are walked on a daily basis.

The Coghlins and the staff at Briarfield Farm Sanctuary all have the common goal of saving as many dogs as possible from euthanasia, cruelty, disease, and abandonment as well as finding them permanent loving homes.  In order to reach these goals each dog at the Sanctuary is given any medical treatment it may need, lots of love and attention, daily work on basic training and behavioral issues, and given a place to call home until they find their forever home.

Briarfield Farm Sanctuary is a federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
